Staying in Istanbul I recommend staying in Lazzoni Hotel. For all your needs will be answered, it’s like staying at home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here because of the luxury and standard of service! It was amazing and I would stay there again when I go to Istanbul.

Main Lobby Entrance: As soon as you pull up to the hotel you are welcomed with scents which already arouse my senses to a relaxed state of mind. The finishes are impeccable and very welcoming for all ages, even if you are people watching the sofas would engulf you - That’s a good thing.

As soon as we arrived we were upgraded to a room with the view of the landmark Glden Hon and developing landscape of greenery. The Turkish economy was to our advantage in September due to the recent political turmoil but it benefited us using the GBP so the upgrade was with a small fee which was well worth it as we had our very own private terrace - which we loved the morning light peering through our window every morning.

We loved every second of it. The room service and pool, heated Jacuzzi and sauna/steam areas are exactly what we needed after going about the town shopping. If you ever stay in Istanbul then Hotel Lazzoni is where you should stay as it’s about 15-20mins to the main Europe side crossing the Bosporus where as we were in the affluent residential areas of Sutluce and it was well worth it - very picturesque especially on the 6th floor where the roof terrace has even more views!! I’ll leave you with with a few snaps that will convince you to stay here due to the interiors and ambiance alone. I also loved that they have their own interior design firm, which explains the well thought out trends of hotel decor.

Be on a look out for more posts on Istanbul… I haven’t finished because there was so much to see and do it’s hard to condense it, and i’ll be giving you all the info regarding what to wear, eat and buy!
